Following the model of Community Supported Agriculture, in which shareholders invest in a farm and receive a monthly share of fruits and vegetables, Brooklyn Community Supported Art + Design connects shareholders directly to the artists and designers. The Brooklyn CSA+D offers access to reasonably priced contemporary art and design works produced by artists and designers in order to strengthen and support the efforts of emerging artists by fostering relationships between them and the community"
