Julian Rose is a sculptor, installation artist and woodworker living and working in the Hudson Valley. Using wood and found objects, Rose creates a visual rhythm inspired by decay and regrowth. Their work has been shown at Governor's Island Art Fair, Every Woman Biennial, 11 Jane Street and in a collaborative interactive performance at The Merce Cunningham Studio. Rose is currently working on a musical composition, transcribing the work into sculptural elements and large scale drawings, initially created on residency at the I-Park Foundation in East Haddam, CT.
